Join Us in Protecting Worker Rights

Worker rights are under constant attack by greedy employers who marginalize worker rights for company profit increase. It's true that companies will slash worker wages, pensions and health benefits to report a profit because t is easier for a company to demand concessions from its employees than having to compete in the real market! But even more shocking, workers' rights are being assaulted by our own government through actions taken by state legislatures! some workers in the US are not given this right a direct assault on democracy, laws and the working-class citizens. The Laborers' International represents over a half million members giving them a voice in congress protecting the best interest of the worker, even if they do not contribute.   on who demand a living-wage and benefits, safer job sites, a voice in Congress for the working-class folks! Members of the Laborers' Union belong to one of the fastest-growing unions in North America.

The US Congress passed the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) in 1935. Section 7 states:" employees SHALL have the right to self-organization, to form, join, or assist labor organizations, to bargain collectively through representatives of their own choosing, and to engage in other concerted activities for the purpose of collective bargaining or other mutual aid and protection," as well as the right to refrain from engaging in any of those activities.
